While their are many online courses and books that you can purchase, lots of information can also be obtained for free if you know where to look for it.

While it may be tempting to spend thousands or hundreds of dollars on some seminar or DVD set, you should always research the product first and make sure that it is highly recommended by other consumers and not some junk that will collect dust. 

If you see something that you like, simply type in the product name followed by review or scam to find out if it has favorable reviews.

Another tip is to not buy too many courses because many of them are the same information packaged differently. 

You will discover after some time that their is not that much to really learn and sometimes picking one form of advertising and mastering it is better than learning it all.

I have found that most of the so called Internet marketing secrets are not really that secret and many marketers implement them into their marketing daily.

While it may be exciting to read a sales page and get your emotions all worked up, some Internet marketing course material is not really all that great. 

For the average Internet marketer starting out it may seem really exciting and new but as you learn and get smarter you will start to see the patterns of other marketers and how they sell. 

Before you spend your money, do your research and look for the better bargains. Sometimes you might just find the same thing for cheaper and with more value.
